Explosion of Joy
A couple at our church invited us to their 25th wedding anniversary celebration. Only friends and family, but about 95% Presbyterian.
The rest were there, I suppose, to spy out our liberty in Christ, our heedless joy on the dance floor, because even the pre-adolescent boys lost their shyness and joined in.
There was also a video, telling the story of the couples love for each other and love for Christ. The wait staff had never seen anything like it. Some were profoundly moved.
My wife and I danced until midnight. Her neck is all sore from looking up at me with those big dreamy eyes of hers. :-)
